Most of us spend a lot of time in our car these days, whether it is for work, day to day or pleasure. We focus a lot of time and attention on preparing our home for a disaster but truth be told there is a good chance when disaster strikes you will be in a vehicle. Here is a brief list of some items we recommend you have in your car.
- Fire Extinguisher- It should be rated for Class B and Class C fire by the National Fire Protection Association
- Reflective Warning Triangles
- Tire Gauge – Remember to check your spare tire regularly
- Foam Tire Sealant – A can of fix a flat is great!
- Jumper Cables
- Flashlight
- Gloves
- Rags
- Duct Tape- It fixes everything!
- Tow Strap
- Rain Poncho
- Drinking water
- Snacks- Nonperishable
- Toilet Paper- Nature always calls
- First-aid Kit
- Blanket
- Cash
